ADDITIVE HEADLINES: EXPERIMENT #12
Robot Driven Cars on Road by 2030 + Elephant's Tusk Removed with Chainsaw
---
Paul A. Toth

The anesthesia you dread,
the dentist predicting leaps,
that veterinarian with the saw:

We engineer risk-free zones.

A few bloody slabs,
radar, drill,
and duct tape:

All that will exceed remains.

Computer-controllable,
this rock-hard environment,
we moved at 1,000 miles per hour:

It's all about location, position.

First, we saw it,
then we sawed it,
now we zoo it,
to be deployed in war
with its single bayonet,
and by 2030
humans will fall at dusk
by single ivory tusk.
