Justices Uphold Abortion Procedure Ban + NASA to Test Portable Robot Surgeon
---
Paul A. Toth

In 2003, the first portable robot doctor,
a Bush appointee,
performed complicated surgery
on battlefield patients.

Soon, robot doctors began conducting
secret third-trimester abortions
unfettered, undersea,
off the coast of California.

Fiction on Demand

"Medical robots are not designed
"for medical practice,"
the Justice wrote,
"underwater."

The robot doctors'
battlefield service
will continue unabated
on the bright line
between abortion and adulticide.

They also will assist
astronauts sick in space,
hovering above Key Largo.

"We've all had to learn
how to go into the different realms,"
a robot doctor "said."

Tomorrow,
it will be sunny and cold.
